What is Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling and should I get it?

RF Microneedling is ideal for skin lifting, tightening, rejuvenation, pore reduction, hyperpigmentation, shallow wrinkles, diminishing acne and acne scars.

This technology uses a hand-piece comprised of a series of micro-needles to penetrate the skin. Because these needles are so small, they cause minimal discomfort during the procedure.

RF energy is simultaneously emitted from the micro-needles when they penetrate the skin. The combination of micro trauma paired with RF heat energy catalyses the body’s natural wound healing process. During this process, fibroblast activity is increased, more collagen is produced and tissue regeneration occurs.

Your skin will appear clearer, smoother and younger following treatment with RF micro-needling. 

You may experience mild transient erythema on the treated areas for up to 2 days depending on the depth of the treatment. The downtime involved is significantly reduced due to it targeting the deeper layers of the skin. 

Suitable for: Most skin types. For darker skin types, skin prep with a melanin inhibitor is highly recommended prior to treatment.
